BM6 Tesla coil Gallery
This is our latest large coil it has a diameter of 12 1/4" and a height of 61", it does feature a new stacked two layer primary coil made of 12mm copper micro bore pipe, the coil is still a work in progress, we now have a sync rotary spark gap to add to the coil, we are using commercial capacitors but this may change over time for a much more compact MMC tank cap.
This is the finished secondary coil for the BM6 it features twin spun aluminium toroids but this may change over time, Now on to the base unit with its two layer stacked primary.
