Commercial capasitors
We are now looking at the best and most expencive capacitors you can buy and use to built your Tesla coil, thses are made by companies like Maxwell, Polycps Inc or in the UK the old Plastic cap company, they have very very fast rise times and very fast discharge times and have great pulse ratings and as such they are very expencive.
These are some caps I picked up a few years back and have a enormus rating they are rated at 0.01uF at 100KV made by HIVOTRONIC Ltd of the UK (they have now gone out of business)
Some times HV pulse caps do come up for sale on internet auction sites, buying thses monsters from there manufacturing companies is a big problem as they cost a fortune.
